How long is the lease that I am required to sign?
Our lease terms are month to month. This type of lease gives you the most flexibility according to your needs.
What sizes do you have and how much do they cost?
Our units range from 5 x 5 to 10 x 25. The rates can be obtained by calling the office.
When can I access my belongings?
Our gate access hours are 6 AM to 10 PM in the summer and 7AM to 8PM in the winter, seven days a week. Extended hours can be arranged as needed.
How can I make a payment?
Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Payments can be processed by mail, by phone or in person. You may also arrange to have your payment automatically charged to your credit card. Please ask our manager about this feature. Our facility has a payment drop slot.
How do I calculate how much storage space I need?
Our expert managers can assist you in determining the right size. Just give us a brief description of what you plan to and we’ll help you determine how much space is needed.
How much notice must be given before I move out?
We request two weeks written notice prior to moving out. Full details on the vacate policy will be provided for you at the time of move-in.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express as well as cash and check. Please ask about our credit card auto-pay program.
Do you sell locks, packing and moving supplies?
What type of security do you provide for my belongings?
Yes, we sell high quality locks with a Lifetime warranty. We also offer boxes and moving supplies
Sugarhouse Self Storage provides many security features including individually alarmed units, on-site resident managers, video surveillance, electronic gate with keypad entry, 24/7 alarm monitoring and pest control.
Do you offer moving services?
We have several professional moving services that we can recommend. Please contact the office manager who would be happy to refer you to a local, reliable mover.
Where can I buy moving supplies and a lock?
Do you provide a moving dollie?
All necessary moving supplies are available for purchase in our office: Boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, locks and more. Check out Tips for Storage

How do I report a maintenance issue?
Our managers at Sugarhouse Self Storage proactively maintain the facility. If there is a maintenance issue that we may be unaware of, please notify the office manager either in person, via email or phone.
